I designed and built this handcrafted woodworking piece to be either a Flower Press or a Book Press – it works for both! Crafted from maple throughout, including the handmade threaded dowel uprights and handmade tapped turning handles.
Eye-Catching Contrasting Colors with Three Hand Rubbed Coats of Danish Oil
The handmade threaded dowel uprights are stained dark for an eye-catching contrast to the lighter colored maple surfaces. The lighter colored maple surfaces are hand rubbed with three coats of Danish Oil, giving this handcrafted wooden tool a rich warm glow with a tough water-resistant finish.
