The 102′s low 12-1/2° blade angle will handle planing both face or end grain with equal precision. The 103′s blade is set at a standard 20° and will take a heavier cut. The 1-1/4″ wide, tool steel blade has been increased to a full 1/8″ thick to reduce chattering. Planes measure 5-3/8″ long x 1-5/8″ wide x 1-7/8″.
